The finishing is done using a machine called a lathe. The design is a gentle U-shape toward the center of the ring, called "Mare", with a line on the side.
The menu shows line decorations to be applied to the center of the "Oval" and "Alps" shapes, but only the sides of the "Mare" can be lined.
