A few days ago, we reported on our craftsman Yanagizumi's business trip to Singapore.

In this issue, we will introduce you to the various items they brought back from the extravaganza!

First of all, here it is, wrapped in a cute package, and I have no idea what it is.
I opened the package, but I don't know what it is.

I tried it. It was sticky, sweet, slightly sour and slightly bitter.
I couldn't figure it out by eating it, so I asked AI.

It's the second Haw flakes, I'm sure!
In Japan, people don't often think of eating hawthorn, but it seems to be a rather common snack in Singapore.
In Japan, there is a hawthorn liquor like plum wine!
It looks like it can be eaten raw.
Personally, I liked this candy.

Next is the food in this picture, the leftmost one.

It looks like a snack, but has a fruit-like illustration on the left edge.

What is this? I still couldn't figure it out, so I asked AI.

It was not a fruit! On the contrary, it was the name of a dish. A seed of a tropical plant called gnemon,
I looked at the ingredients and found only "Belinjau fruit" and "palm oil".
The taste, not much taste,? I thought it was a little bitter...
It was the first time I tasted it. It was not very palatable to the rest of the staff, including me, so I am thinking about what to do with it.
In the center of the photo were curry-flavored chips.
It also contained dried okra, which was deliciously spicy and different from the Japanese version.

The last one is coffee-flavored candy.
Kopi is Singaporean for sweet coffee, so it was a sweet candy as it should be.

All of the sweets are recommended by Singapore staff!
